Learn To Draw The Human Figure - “The Structure of Man” - Riven Phoenix

I read about Riven Phoenix’s incredible tutorial videos in the March 2007 issue of ImagineFX magazine, and all I can say is wow!  and thank you Riven Phoenix! In the first column below, are several sample videos of his 5 disk DVD set “The Structure of Man,” from his YouTube Channel (subscribe to it).  

I highly recommend purchasing the 5 DVD set of all 227 lessons - and the video resolution is considerably better.  That’s 43 hours of video lessons! The set is available for $45, plus shipping and handling.  That’s a MAJOR deal!  Check them out on his site at http://www.the-structure-of-man.blogspot.com/ .

I’ve also included three more columns of video: the second column has some additional concept art videos for inspiration (and it’s a random sample so I have zero control of what the search terms “concept art” will produce), the third column has video from this year’s GDC (Game Developer’s Conference), and the last column has game art & design videos. 

There are about 80 videos here to get you started and inspired.  Please check out more of them on the various artists sites. If you have suggestions of instructional videos you’d like to see here - or if you’ve produced your own and would like to show them here or have us link to them on your site - GREAT!  Just drop me an email/phone call using the contact page and tell me what you’ve got.  It  needs to be in one of the following catagories: 3D software tutorials (any package/platform, including Linux and BeOS), game design, web design, concept art, 2D illustration/art, 3D modelling/animation, anime, classic animation, scripting/programming with an emphasis on the previously mentioned catagories, and the like.
